Central Registry of Star Names

All star names worldwide are saved in a central database.

When it comes to professional star naming, a worldwide central database containing the names of all stars is essential. Along with the star's name and data, the USFI registry includes other important information such as the customer's name, a personal dedication, and the country where the star's name was chosen.

Our star registry is open to the public and can be viewed by anyone for free. We recommend having a look around. It's fun!
