Basic Operation
After launching the USFI planetarium you will see a landscape and the sky as it appears at the location you indicated during installation. Depending on the time of day as displayed in the upper left corner of the program window, there may be no stars visible. You can change your line of sight with the arrow keys on your keyboard or by holding the left mouse button while moving.

Look down
You can zoom in and out using the Page Up and Page Down keys or by using the mouse wheel.
Zoom in (enlarge center)
Zoom out (make center smaller)
The current field of view (fov) is displayed in the upper right part of the window. The further you zoom in, the smaller the field of view will become and vice versa. The maximum field of view that we can take in with our eyes is called the field of vision and covers around 100 degrees.
To mark an object in the sky, click it with the left mouse button. You can center on the marked object with the space bar. A right click cancels the current marker but not the centering. You can deactivate this with the T key.
